Helitreck Helicopters helped local ground crews to remove trees that had collapsed onto peoples dwellings due to large storms. The job was located at Berowra Waters, surrounded by thick forest and only accessible by water and as such sight analysis was not possible.
Our team arrived on site three hours before the aircraft was needed – this allowed them to carry out their site inspections and communicate with arborist crew. Upon carrying out the site inspection on the day, our crew discovered that the tree had fallen on a large incline and had to be strapped down with rigging rope prior to being cut in order to prevent it sliding down the hill.
The barge and its crew arrived and began loading smaller debris into nets onto the barge.
This job was carried out seamlessly, with the fallen trees removed completely and limiting any further structural damage to properties.
