Helitreck is currently supporting the Tasmanian Parks and Wildlife Service on contract with one of our BK117 B2 twin engine helicopters.
Our crews have been operating in Tasmania since mid December 2021 and will continue through till mid March, providing hoist training, fire fighting and first response services to the TFS (Tasmanian Fire Service) and Tasmanian Parks and Wildlife Service.
The crew is also supported with an on with a mobile Helitreck fuel tanker and crews are changed out on regular maintenance flights to ensure the aircraft is fully operational.
As you can see from some of the photos posted here, we are extremely lucky to be able to operate in such a pristine and picturesque environment.
