James has accrued over 4000 flight hours and 3,800 winches during his 18 years in the aviation industry, joining Helitreck’s team in 2007.
James’ vast practical experience includes specialised lifting, remote area winching, aerial pest control, aerial incendiary operations, aerial firefighting operations and search & rescue. His extensive experience in emergency services support has led to a high standard of performance under stress.
James’ education achievement of Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and his nurturing disposition has made him influential in developing and managing Helitreck’s winch training program.
As well as his position as Chief Crewman, James’ keen attention to detail makes him ideal to serve as Helitreck’s Safety Manager – a role that encompasses the Safety Management System Investigation and Reporting, and Occupational Health & Safety.
